It is with great sadness we advise that Shirley Ramsay passed away.

As well as supporting husband Bob’s lacrosse career Shirley became heavily involved in Wembley’s junior lacrosse.

During the 1960s and 70s when sons Bill and Robbie took up playing lacrosse Shirley was in the background lending her support to their teams.

A big way she did this was by recruiting players from the City of Perth SLSC another club she was involved in.

Shirley and Bob hosted a lot of training nights for the club on the basketball court at the rear of their house.

Shirley maintained an interest in the club by following Rob’s and then grandchildren Sam, Jess and Ali lacrosse careers.
