Orientation to Sports Team Management Course

This course provides practical information for team managers to provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable sporting experience.
The workshop covers supporting club culture and history of the club or sport and helping team managers identify aspects of being a good sport.

The workshop is the first of three levels of programs and targeted at people who have never managed a team before. With emphasis on junior sport environment it covers:

harassment-free sport
child protection
relationships with the coach, athletes, club officials and the parents
basic administrative duties of a team manager.
Places are limited.
